FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used, in particular, in electrical connections designed to supply electricity to electric motors of submersible pumps for the extraction of reservoir fluid. The cable extension coupling contains a housing with a shank for cable entry, a cable with cores fixed in the housing with a locking element, and a pad with holes for placing the tips and cable cores connecting to them. On the outer surface of the shank, longitudinal cooling ribs are made that do not protrude beyond the dimensions of the housing and have a height gradually decreasing in the direction of cable entry.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of operation and an increase in the service life of the coupling at high temperatures.
