FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to therapeutic dentistry and concerns an inorganic filler, namely radiopaque glass for fillers of composite dental materials. Objective of the claimed invention is development of radiopaque glass for composite dental material, characterized by low values of refraction index and high values of radiopacity. Task is achieved by the fact that the radiopaque glass for filler of composite dental materials contains the following components, wt.%: SiO2 – 36–39; Al2O3 – 13.5–19; SrO – 9–10; B2O3 – 16.5–19; BaO – 7–8; K2O – 1–7.5; Na2O – 1–5.5; ZrO2 – 1–2; TiO2 – 1–4, wherein ∑BaO+SrO>16 wt.%.
EFFECT: reduction of cooking temperature, increase of radiopacity coefficient.
