FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to control systems for monitoring the technical condition of axle boxes of a moving train. In the method for acoustic monitoring of the state of axleboxes of wheel sets of a moving train, when the train passes through a measuring section with a length of at least 2.5 wheel revolutions, each axlebox assembly of each wheel pair is identified and the acoustic noise generated by each axlebox assembly is measured using acoustic signal receivers, each of which converts the acoustic signal into an electrical one, which is pre-processed by appropriate amplification and filtering, converted from analog to digital form and compensate for the distortions introduced by the electro-acoustic path. Using the criterion of the maximum of the dimensionless discriminant, the optimal frequency range of the signal is determined, in which the envelope spectrum of the signal is isolated. For each axle box of the wheel pair, a set of diagnostic features is calculated directly from the signal and from the selected spectrum of the signal envelope, and the condition of the axle box of the wheel pair is monitored based on the analysis of the set of diagnostic features using the knowledge bases obtained at the training stage. The results of monitoring the condition of the axlebox units, indicating the identifier of each of them, are transmitted through the data transmission system to the involved services.
EFFECT: increases the reliability of acoustic diagnostics of the axle boxes of the wheelset of a moving train.
