FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology, namely, to the rehabilitation of the mineral component of ecosystems of violated or contaminated underground cavities. Method involves consecutive two-stage contact-free surface treatment after removing biofouling for the purpose of accelerating the subsequent mineralisation and strengthening the bonds between the layers of the base and the newly formed calcite. At the first stage, the calcite mineral deposit is treated with a suspension with an 0.1 wt.% solid phase content for deeper penetration of the agent into the treated object. After 24 hours, the second stage of treatment is performed using a 5.5% hydroxyapatite suspension covering the entire surface and providing a stable visual bleaching effect. The sinter calcite formations are treated in the dry season before the start of the seasonal mineral formation cycle.
EFFECT: faster restoration of secondary calcite mineral formations with the maintained surface relief and higher adhesive strength, including in the event of damage thereto.
