FIELD: ceramic proppants production.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the production of ceramic proppants, in particular to the composition of the mixture intended for the manufacture of medium-density magnesia-quartz proppants (ceramic proppants) with a bulk density of 1.5-1.75 g/cm3. The mixture for the manufacture of ceramic proppant containing 17-35 wt.% MgO, consists of a magnesium silicate component and quartz, and additionally contains albite in the following ratio of components, wt.%: albite 0.1-15, magnesium silicate component and quartz - the rest.
EFFECT: reduction of water absorption of ceramic proppant.
