FIELD: rail traffic management.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of regulating packet train traffic. The method is based on the use of succession time intervals, which includes: a braking section calculated taking into account influencing factors, and a section of the track that the train passes in ten seconds, taking into account the actual speed. From the locomotive (L) to SV, a control order is transmitted to reduce the pressure in the brake line of the middle part of the train to accelerate the braking process; the locomotive computer continuously monitors the pressure in the brake line in the L, the middle and tail of the train, if the train speed does not match the normative values, an order is formed to reduce it and supply an optical and then an acoustic signal to the driver. The brake line on the L, middle and tail of the train is additionally equipped with a stepped pressure reducing device and an emergency pressure reducing device operating without time delay. Mobile radio stations, computers, and communications between them involved in the control of automatic braking regulators are duplicated to exclude exceeding the speed of the train when it is braking.
EFFECT: increase in the throughput of the running lines is achieved.
