FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to test benches for assessing the stability of test samples of road surfaces in relation to their wear under the influence of automobile studded tires. An evaluation method in which the volume of the test sample is determined, washed, saturated with a reagent, placed in a test bench. After the test, the sample is washed, its volume is determined and, by the difference in the volume of the sample before and after the tests, the compliance of the material with the requirements is determined. The bench includes two car wheels, one of which is studded. The driving wheel is kinematically connected to the corresponding rotation drive. The driven wheel is placed on the mounting plate with the possibility of axial movement relative to the driving wheel. In the gap between these wheels, a roller-type means is placed, made with the possibility of changing the load on the test sample and moving in horizontal and vertical directions. Irrigation of the sample is carried out by means of nozzles.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the results is achieved.
