FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods and means for testing road pavement samples to determine the effect of anti-icing reagents (AIR) on road pavement material, for example, based on asphalt concrete and its mixtures. A test bench 3 with a rotating spindle 4 is used as a testing installation, and a cylindrical brush 5 with metal hairs, which is kinematically connected to the spindle 4 by means of a mandrel 6, is used as a working loading structure. The mandrel 6 is fixed in the spindle 4 coaxially with it. As the corresponding structure of the test samples 1, which is subjected to a dynamic load, the surface 7 of the test sample 1 is used directly. The dynamic load on this surface 7 of the test sample 1 is carried out due to the frictional contact of the hairs of the brush 5 with the surface 7 of the test sample facing them. The brush 5 is given a trajectory of movement relative to the specified surface 7 along an epicycloid, for which the axis of its rotation relative to the mandrel 6 is shifted relative to the axis of rotation of the spindle 4 of the test bench 3.
EFFECT: increase in reliability of test results in relation to the real picture of possible destruction of the road surface material under the influence of AIR.
