Cooling segment for a smoking article with no-burning heating comprises polymer-coated paper including paper and a polymer layer containing polymer and made on paper. The surface of the polymer-coated paper formed by the polymer layer has a surface area of 100 to 280 mm² by 1 mm of the cooling segment in the axial direction.

EFFECT: effectiveness of cooling the vaporised aerosol component is raised while maintaining the low filtration properties of the aerosol.
