FIELD: nuclear power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear power plant. The power plant includes a ceramic fast neutron nuclear reactor with fuel from uranium nitride or its mixture with plutonium nitride and oxide, a reactor vessel, fuel rods with covers, internal parts, a generator, heat exchangers, circulation pumps with pipelines of the first, second, having a hot part, and third circuits, a high-temperature plant for producing hydrogen and oxygen according to sulfur-iodine cycle and lead-water heat exchanger. Fuel rod covers, internal parts, pipelines of the first circuit, the hot part of the pipelines of the second circuit, heat exchangers, as well as a plant for producing hydrogen and oxygen and a lead-water heat exchanger are made of inhibited composite ceramic material based on C-SiC or inhibited ceramic material based on SiC-SiC. Lead or lead-bismuth alloy with a bismuth content of 48 to 63% is used as the heat carriers of the first circuit, and water is used for the second circuit. Fuel cells have the shape of regular hexagonal prisms with the length of the base side from 8 to 35 mm and the height of the side face from 8 to 100 mm.
EFFECT: increase in the safety of the NPP in the event of its emergency de-energization with an increase in the service life.
