FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding in a wireless communication network. A communication device alternates the first bit sequence to obtain the first alternated sequence with a sequence number starting from a sequence number 0, wherein the first bit sequence contains bits for indication of timing, wherein bits for indication of timing contain a set of bits for indication of a synchronization signal block index (hereinafter – SSBI); wherein the set of bits for indication of SSBI is placed in positions specified by sequence numbers 2, 3, and 5 in the first alternated sequence. Then, devices add d first CRC bits in the first alternated sequence to obtain the second bit sequence, then, the second bit sequence is alternated in accordance with an alternating pattern to obtain the second alternated sequence, and, finally, the second alternated sequence is polarly encoded to obtain an encoded sequence.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of transmission of a broadcasting channel.
