SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to thermal protection. The heat-loaded tile is in shape a circular cylinder of a given radius, which has two parallel bases and two samples of material with the radius of the cylinder from the side of each base. The edge heat-shielding tile is in shape a circular cylinder with a base in the form of a rectangle with rounded ends with rounding radii equal to the radius of the cylinder of the heat-loaded tile. The method for placing heat-shielding tiles on the protected surface is characterized by the fact that the heat-loaded tiles are glued to the protected surface and to two adjacent heat-loaded tiles of the previous row. On the glued heat-loaded tile, two adjacent heat-shielding tiles of the next row are glued from above. The edge heat-shielding tiles are glued to the protected and sequentially to the previously glued tiles of the formed row, and the direction of the rows of heat-shielding tiles is orthogonal to the direction of the plasma flow.
EFFECT: improved quality of thermal protection operation.
