SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a threaded connection for pipes. Threaded connection for pipes comprises a nipple (3), a coupling (4), a metallised layer (5) of the thrust section and a metallised layer (6) of the non-thrust section. The metallised layer (5) of the thrust section has an extreme external layer formed by a metallised layer (50) with a high friction coefficient and is placed on the thrust section (33) on the side of the nipple and/or on the thrust section (43) on the side of the coupling. The metallised layer (6) of the non-thrust section has an extreme external layer formed by a metallised layer (60) with a low friction coefficient lower than the friction coefficient of the metallised layer (50) with a high friction coefficient, and the metallised layer (6) of the non-thrust section is placed on at least one of the threaded section (31) on the side of the nipple, the metal seal section (32) on the side of the nipple, the threaded section (41) on the side of the coupling, and the metal seal section (42) on the side of the coupling.

EFFECT: provided threaded connection for pipes with a high torque "delta" value, configured to be screwed both by the tightening torque equivalent to the tightening torque of a common threaded connection and by a tightening torque greater than that of a common threaded connection.
