FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, particularly to rotating waveguide connections. Rotating waveguide connection includes two sections of coaxial lines installed coaxially with possibility of rotation relative to each other around their axis. Besides, it includes metal conical sections connected by each narrow side to external conductors of input and output coaxial lines, and dielectric rod with diameter not less than ,
where λ is wavelength, ε is relative permittivity of rod material. Rod consists of two or more coaxial parts installed tightly to each other with possibility of rotation. Proposed device comprises outer case composed of two hollow cylinders fitted at ends of conical sections and interconnected to revolve relative to axis of coaxial lines. Casing radius exceeds diameter of dielectric rod by at least two times.
EFFECT: simplified design with simultaneous reduction of accuracy requirements.
