FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the flow divider of a mass Coriolis flow meter. The flow divider 2 according to the present invention is made in the form of a part in which one inlet pipe of a larger diameter 9 is provided for connection to the pipeline, two rotary channels 11 and 12, at the ends of which there are smaller diameter pipes 13 and 14, parallel to each other and perpendicular to the larger diameter pipe. In this case, the flow separation in the flow divider occurs along the dividing edge 10, located at the intersection of the rotary channels 11 and 12, after the flow is rotated relative to the pipeline flow by an angle in the range from 63° to 90°.
EFFECT: reduction in pressure loss due to a decrease in flow turbulence and an increase in the stability of the flow meter readings, due to a decrease in the likelihood of disruptive vortices and cavitation.
