SUBSTANCE: embodiments relate to a valve node for an endoscopic device and methods for its use. The valve node may be placed in a socket and may have a functional connection to a gas inlet, a gas outlet, a water inlet, and a water outlet. The valve node may include a valve rod forming the first channel, the second channel, the third channel, and the fourth channel, connected via fluid to an adjustable sealing element. During at least one of insufflation, irrigation, and purification of a lens, gas transmission between a gas supply system and the water outlet is blocked, when gas is transmitted along the fourth channel through the first channel and the third channel, so that it exerts compacting pressure on the adjustable sealing element.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will allow for improvement of imaging of an operational field during the use of a device.
