FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine cooling systems. Proposed water tank comprises container (200) with chamber (100). Said container (200) has water inlet (31), water outlet (32), gas inlet (201) and gas outlet (202). Water inlet (31) and water outlet (32) are communicated with chamber (100). Gas inlet (201) and gas outlet (202) are communicated via exhaust gas channel. Exhaust gas channel is not communicated with chamber (100). Engine cooling system comprises separate auxiliary water tank and exhaust gas channel to inhibit an ingress of engine and radiator gases into said auxiliary water tanks and its mixing with cooling fluid in auxiliary water tank.
EFFECT: decreased pressure in water tank and coolant temperature.
