FIELD: radar technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar, in particular to the field of testing airborne radar stations in laboratory conditions. The proposed method for simulating radar reflections for systems with two receiving antennas consists in the fact that to simulate radar echo signals, a matrix of emitters is synthesized to form an electromagnetic field corresponding to reflections from a real simulated object, taking into account its motion parameters, reflective properties, and extent. In this case, the matrix emitters and the initial phases of the studied signals are set based on the condition of signal synchronism at each receiving point to provide simulation for both antennas of a common target observed by the antennas simultaneously in the same angular position.
EFFECT: expansion of the use of matrix simulators due to the possibility of forming reflections from objects in real time for two-antenna radar systems.
