SUBSTANCE: to given motion trajectories of aerial objects, characteristics and models are input into an air environment definition file, said characteristics and models characterising said objects as secondary radiation sources, based on radial velocities, secondary radar active channels. Parameters which characterise aerial objects as noise sources are input during time intervals for simulating the air environment. When preparing the air environment definition file, the operator's workstation performs the function of the instructor's workstation with subsequent switching thereof to display the air environment in standard mode for monitoring the air space in the area of responsibility in accordance with the given scanning program of a three-dimensional radar station. A concurrent operating mode is provided, which involves real-time synchronous merging of primary information generated in the area of responsibility of the radar station with the simulated air environment.
