SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology; it is intended for the treatment or prevention of ophthalmic conditions. An ophthalmic preparation is described, mostly for the treatment and prevention of ophthalmic diseases and disorders. The ophthalmic preparation is in the form of a solid fibrous carrier, which contains water-soluble nanofibers containing hyaluronic acid or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, and/or at least one hyaluronic acid derivative of the general formula (I), where R+ is H+ or pharmaceutically acceptable salt, R1 is H or -C(=O)CxHy, where x is an integer in the range from 3 to 21, and y is an integer in the range from 7 to 43, and CxHy is a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated chain C3-C21, wherein one or more groups of R1-C(=O)CxHy are in at least one repeated link, and n is in the range from 12 to 4000. At the same time, at least one water-soluble synthetic polymer is selected from a group including polyethylene oxide or polyvinyl alcohol. At least one active agent is contained in the entire volume of nanofibers. The use of the specified ophthalmic preparation for the treatment or prevention of ophthalmic conditions, such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, infection, inflammation, or allergy, is also presented.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides a new ophthalmic preparation having quick solubility after contact with the eye.
