FIELD: water sports athletes equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of equipment for water sports athletes, and in particular to the means of protecting athletes involved in water sports, such as kitesurfing, from water splashes. The effect is achieved due to the fact that the splash protection device when practicing water sports on the water surface is made in the form of a splash deflector placed on the outside of the ankle joint with an elastic belt fixed around the ankle joint of the leg, while the deflector is made of an elongated shape from a flexible and elastic material to which the belt is mounted.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of protecting the athlete's face and eyes from water splashes when practicing water sports on the surface of the water.
