SUBSTANCE: protective vest for skiers and snowboarders can be used in winter sports to protect the shoulder girdle and the cervical region against injuries when falling and colliding with an obstacle. The protective vest includes a cover made of layers of durable elastic material, between which there is an internal protective part that covers the upper back down from shoulder level, the upper part of the shoulder from the neck along the shoulder, as well as the chest area down from shoulder level, while having a curved shape smoothing the projections of the shoulder girdle, as well as the cover on the front side contains a zipper and a semi-automatic fastener. In a particular case of implementation, the cover in the collar area has a zipper, which allows access to the internal space of the cover formed by layers of material for inserting/removing the internal protective part. In a particular case of implementation, the inner protective part consists of two front parts, two shoulder parts and one rear part mated to each other by a lock connection. In a particular case of implementation, the cover has pockets for accommodating parts of the internal protective part. In a particular case of implementation, the inner protective part is made of a sheet of elastic material and is placed in several layers in a case in the area of the chest, back, shoulders and cervical region. In a particular case of implementation, the inner protective part has rigid inserts.

EFFECT: protective vest of a simple reliable design, which provides protection for the shoulder girdle and cervical region against damage when skiing and snowboarding.
