FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiation diagnostics and therapy and can be used to assess structural changes in bone tissue in the diagnosis of changes in the sacroiliac joints in spondyloarthritis. The patient is placed on his back with his legs stretched out. The examined side is raised above the table in such a way that the frontal plane of the body forms an angle of 20° with the plane of the table in accordance with dwg. 1 presented in the application materials. The central beam of the X-ray diagnostic device is directed perpendicular to the plane of the table at the level of the upper anterior iliac spine, with a focal length of 125 cm. Then the following values are selected for scanning: the examined area is the iliac bone; the projection is oblique; depending on the patient’s complexion, the parameters for tomosynthesis are set: the angle of passage of the tube is 60°, the height is from 120 to 140 mm, the number of images is 60, the thickness of the examined object is 200-300 mm, the reconstruction layer is 1.5 mm.

EFFECT: method provides volumetric visualization of the bone structure, reducing the overlap of nearby organs and the ability to evaluate the X-ray joint gap throughout its entire length, as well as the accuracy of detecting structural changes in the bone due to the patient’s laying and the choice of the projection of tomosynthesis.
