FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining and, in particular, to solvents deasphaltisation processes (SDA) of heavy oils, natural bitumen and heavy oil residues. Described is a method of solvent deasphalting of heavy oil feedstock, according to which sedimentation extraction process is carried out using a solvent of heavy oil stock, which is a mixture of carbon dioxide and toluene with toluene content of 10 to 40 wt%, in a single-phase liquid, sub- or supercritical state. Extraction process is carried out in the temperature range from 50 to 150 °C and pressures from 100 to 300 bar in counterflow gravitational-type extraction column with subsequent regeneration of main quantities of CO2 from deasphaltizate to supercritical solution for CO2 conditions.
EFFECT: achievement of high output of asphalt-free fuel in combination with high selectivity of separation and efficiency of removal of asphaltenes and metals from composition of heavy oil stock in process of its SDA when using mixtures of CO2 and toluene as a combined solvent.
