SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of automated water supply for household appliances. The design of the water supply system includes a drinking water supply unit, a distribution unit consisting of a housing, shut-off solenoid valves and a control module. The control module is made in the form of a board on which a power supply, power elements for controlling electromagnetic valves and a module for receiving and transmitting signals over a wireless network are integrated, the number of valves is n-1, where n is the number of terminal devices connected to the system. The water supply to the terminal devices is carried out through water pipes. Terminal bases are equipped with sealed connectors for supplying water to tanks, as well as sensors for the amount of water in the tank and wireless signal reception and transmission boards. A method for automatically supplying water to household appliances tanks consists in using the system described above, where the water level in each tank is determined using water quantity sensors. Information from the water quantity sensors is sent to the data transmission and reception board, from where it is transmitted wirelessly to a common control server, which, in the event of an insufficient water level in the terminal devices, generates a control signal transmitted wirelessly to the water supply system, which tops up water into the tanks up to until the water quantity sensors register the achievement of the set level and the control server sends a signal to stop topping up. After that, the water supply is stopped.

EFFECT: creation of a single system with wireless control, which would provide water supply simultaneously to all household devices using water or water vapor in their work, as well as increase the safety of using these household devices.
