The automatic upper water filling system of the electric kettle includes a lid with a water filling hole, a filling hole shutter, means for detecting the flow of water directed to the lid, a control board and a battery. The control board allows you to receive and process data transmitted by means of registering the water flow, and, based on the results of processing, generate control signals for opening and closing the gate.

EFFECT: development of a top fill system, the position of the filler hole shutter of which changes automatically depending on the presence or absence of a water flow directed to the shutter, while increasing the safety of the system in parallel.
