METHOD FOR AUTOMATED HEART RATE DETERMINATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/24 G06F17/10 G06F17/18

Abstract RU 2783147 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to a method for automated determination of the heart rate (HR) of a user in motion using wearable devices that measure heart rate using optical technologies. At the initialization stage, two initial accumulations of measured values of heart rate values are carried out. The first accumulation is made when setting the level of motor activity characteristic of professional, sports or other types of user activity. The second accumulation is carried out immediately after the completion of the first one, provided that the minimum level of motor activity is observed. Based on these values, two histograms of the distribution are constructed, which are used to analyze the level of the total influence of destabilizing factors on the true heart rate value, for which the coefficient of the complex influence of destabilizing factors is determined, which is used later at the measurement stage. The measurement stage contains repeatable cycles of accumulation of distorted heart rate values, in each of which a histogram of the distribution of the obtained heart rate values is constructed with the determination of the minimum and maximum heart rate values, as well as the true heart rate value for this cycle.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of heart rate measurement is achieved in the presence of arbitrary non-periodic human movements without the use of an additional motion sensor in a more efficient and reliable way.
