FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an installation and a method for environmentally safe processing of wastes and biomass using plasma gasification and gas conversion of pyrolysis gas to increase efficiency of production of electric power and other useful products. Solid wastes and biomass are subjected to vacuum and temperature drying. Vacuum extraction of volatile compounds and water vapours from solid wastes and biomass is ensured in the process of vacuum and temperature drying. After that, the vapor-air mixture and volatile compounds are accumulated, then the accumulated vapor-air mixture and volatile compounds are subjected to plasma cleaning-disinfection and superheated water vapor is generated, which as plasma-forming gas is supplied to plasmatrons of indirect arc in plasma gasification reactor for plasma gasification. Steam-air mixture obtained in process of plasma purification-disinfection is condensed by separating water vapor from steam-air mixture extracted from solid wastes and biomass. Purified and decontaminated air is released into atmosphere.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of production of electric power and other useful products and level of environmental safety.
