SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical processing; it can be used for placement and fixation of thin-wall case parts with a groove in their processing on machines. A device – satellite contains a base with supports for installation of a placing element having elements for attachment of a processed part, while the placing element is made with the possibility of being placed between supports of the base in the form of M-shaped step liner, in which a width of an inner protrusion is made equal to a width of the groove of the mentioned part, a height of the inner protrusion is made equal to a thickness of the wall of the mentioned part, and an overall width is made equal to a distance between supports of the base, while it is equipped with a bracket and a bolt for attraction of the mentioned liner to supports.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows for an increase in the accuracy of processing of thin-wall case parts and reduction in labor intensity of a process of their fixation-unfastening.
