FIELD: aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigation of aerial vehicles (AVs) and is intended for ensuring the safety of flight of a group of aerial vehicles acting jointly in difficult navigation conditions, including when the satellite radio navigation system (SRNS) fails. For this purpose, while the SRNS is in operation, navigation information is determined by each AV, transmitted and received via the information exchange channels of the AV by generating synchronisation signals in order to perform time division of the transmission and reception of the navigation information, and when the SRNS is not in operation, the time division of the transmission and reception of the navigation information are autonomously synchronised in the group of AVs, followed by transmitting and receiving signals in order to determine the relative distances between the AVs.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of generating synchronisation signals when determining the relative position of the AV.
