FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to accumulation and conversion of energy, in particular to conversion of kinetic or potential energy of fluid, for example gas, into electrical energy. A device contains a pressure vessel with a fluid inlet, made with the possibility of retention of fluid under pressure from the specified inlet in the pressure vessel. A pair of charge accumulation electrodes is located at a distance from each other along the direction of charge accumulation and is placed inside the pressure vessel. An electrical field generator is made with the possibility of generation of an electrical field in the pressure vessel along the direction of the field for separation of charged particles in fluid. Other disclosed devices provide a possibility of delay of current flow for contribution to charge accumulation or irradiation with electromagnetic radiation. Other devices are made for a fluid flow, not pressure. A system containing any of the disclosed devices and related methods are also disclosed. The disclosure can be used, for example, in provision of a power source for an electric vehicle.
