FIELD: cotton industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cotton industry and can be used to clean the fiber after cotton ginning. The fiber cleaner contains inlet 1 and outlet 2 branch pipes, a serrated section, including saw cylinders 3 and 4 and grates 5 located under each saw cylinder 3 and 4, a lapping brush 6 mounted at the first saw cylinder 3, a knife cutter 7 between the saw cylinders 3 and 4, a carbon monoxide chamber 8 with guide louvres 9 and a belt conveyor 10 for removing debris. According to the invention, the serrated section includes two saw cylinders 3 and 4 connected to a rotation speed controller with the possibility of increasing the rotation speed of the second saw cylinder 4 from 3 to 5% of the rotation speed of the first saw cylinder 3. A centrifugal cleaner is mounted in front of the inlet pipe 1, made in the form pipes 11 of curvilinear shape, forming in the direction of movement of the clogged fiber of the arc 12, in one of which there is a gap 13 adjustable from 0.1 mm to 30 mm.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of fiber cleaning, as well as to reduce mechanical damage to the fiber and the material consumption of the device.
