FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and textile industry, namely to primary cotton processing, and can be used in pneumatic conveying installations. Craw cotton separator contains separation chamber 1 with inlet 2 and outlet branch pipe 3, perforated end screen 7 with scraper 8, installed at chamber end 1, vacuum valve 9 with impeller 11 located in lower part of chamber 1, and guide mounted on inlet to chamber 1. According to the invention, at the inlet of separation chamber 1, upper guide 4 is mounted, oriented from the inlet to vertical axis 15 of end net 7, which is composite, comprising a curved main rigid plate 12, to which through gasket 13, having elastic deformation, connected outer plate 14, and lower guide 5. Rigid plate 12 of upper guide 4 and working surface of outer plate 14 have radius of curvature Rn=1.25 Rm, where Rm is end mesh radius 7. Gasket 13 is made with variable width, diverging from inlet branch pipe 2 of chamber 1 to end of upper guide 4. Lower guide 5 is made curvilinear with radius of curvature equal to radius of outer plate 14 of upper guide 4. Between the outer circumference of end mesh 7 and the end of lower guide 5 there is a gap.
EFFECT: longer life of the separator, as well as high quality of raw cotton and maximum preservation of natural properties of the products due to reduced damage to the rear wall of the separator.
