FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, to sports horse breeding, namely to methods for correcting metabolic processes, increasing resistance, stress resistance, athletic qualities and rapid recovery of form in sports horses. The method includes intramuscular injections of an energy-immuno-metabolic drug based on succinic acid. Succinic biostimulator in 1000 ml of solution contains succinic acid - 10.0 g, ASD-2f - 40 ml, polyvinyl alcohol - 10.0 g, vitamin B₁₂ - 10.0 g and magnesium - 10.0 g. Each component is dissolved separately in distilled water when heated to 70-80°C until completely dissolved, followed by mixing the solutions at a temperature of 25-30°C and bringing the volume to 1000 ml with packaging in 100 ml vials and sterilization by autoclaving in the mode of 1.0-1.1 atm for 20 minutes. The drug is used for sports horses in a dose of 10 ml intramuscularly once after participating in the traditional prize draw and after an interval of 12 days with a slow recovery of athletic form.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to adjust energy-immuno-metabolic processes, quickly restore strength, increase stress tolerance, resistance and athletic qualities of horses during the prize period; makes it possible to increase endurance and agility, improve coordination in conditions of intensive training, quickly restore breathing and heart rate after exertion, as well as more efficiently consume food due to its better assimilation, strengthen the health of the animal, increase its resistance to diseases.
