FIELD: railway transport track devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of track devices of railway transport and is intended to control the speed of rolling cuts on mechanized and automated hump yards. Car retarder contains a base with single-arm levers, pneumatic chambers, axles, brake beams, adjustable and non-adjustable stops. The car retarder has in its design a reinforced concrete base slab, a rigid metal spacer of the required height, a brake mechanism consisting of identical brake modules with individual pneumatic actuators for each lever, brake beams mounted on the levers of the brake modules, made of rolled rail, the rolling surface of which is brake tire function.

EFFECT: design of the moderator is simplified, the design units are unified, which ensures their interchangeability.
