FIELD: random access procedure means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for a random access procedure. At the terminal device, a random access request is transmitted to the network device in a random access procedure. It is determined, in response to receiving from the network device, during the random access procedure, the uplink resource grant to the terminal device, whether the size indicated by the uplink resource grant matches the size of the media access control PDU stored in the buffer terminal device. The media access control PDU subunit is included in the subsequent uplink transmission after determining that the size indicated by the uplink resource grant does not match the size of the media access control’s PDU stored in the buffer.
