FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: torsional oscillation damper comprises a body, a cover, a flywheel with a gear crown located in the body in a high-viscosity liquid medium, and a flange with holes for securing the torsional oscillation damper. The gear crown of the flywheel is made helical and comes into helical engagement with the gear crown of the rim, made in the form of an internal-toothing gear and secured on the inner surface of the body. The flywheel is installed on a sleeve and provided with thrust plates at the ends.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of damping torsional oscillations.
