FIELD: catalytic materials manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a catalytic material. The effect is achieved due to the fact that the method for manufacturing a catalytic material for a fuel cell contains the following steps: adding 6-8% by weight to platinum, nafion, carbon black and a solvent of carbon nanoflakes, dispersion in a ball mill for 8 hours, followed by spraying obtained catalytic ink on the membrane at a temperature of 65-85°C and pressing between two Teflon plates at a temperature of 115-125°C and a pressure of 0.4-0.5 MPa for 1-2 minutes.
EFFECT: reducing the loading of platinum into the catalyst by 30-40% while maintaining high electrical characteristics of fuel cells.
