FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing polymer films with variable wettability, based on a mixture of two polymers with hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties. Polyethylene oxide and tetrafluoroethylene telomeres are used as copolymers, being dissolved in acetone and mixed in an amount corresponding to the polyethylene oxide/telomere mass ratio equal to 1. The resulting polymer is applied onto a glass substrate with a layer thickness of up to 0.2 mm. The resulting film is dried from acetone, and the properties thereof are activated by heating to 130 °C for 45 minutes, followed by rapid cooling.
EFFECT: simplified method for producing polymer films capable of transitioning from hydrophobic to hydrophilic properties and vice versa; shorter duration of the production process.
