FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrophobic compositions with high moisture-proof properties and minimal adhesion of snow and ice to the surface of structural elements of complex technical systems. Hydrophobic polymer coating comprises a polymer film former, a powder component, an acrylic copolymer solution in a mixture of organic solvents butyl acetate/acetone /toluene. Fluoropolymer film former based on trifluorochloroethylene and vinylidene fluoride, modified by telomere tetrafluoroethylene and nano-dispersed silicon dioxide in a mixture of organic solvents butyl acetate/ethyl acetate/acetone/toluene, is used as a polymer film former. Perfluorinated powder accelerator – low molecular weight fluorine paraffin is used as a powder component. Coating method is also claimed.
EFFECT: invention provides a polymer coating with low wetting hysteresis and low ice adhesion to the surface of structural elements.
