FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a method for express diagnostics of viral diseases in a phase of active virus isolation. The method includes control of patient’s parameters. In this case, control of this phase is carried out by calculation of a number of nanoparticles, using an optical particle counter, in the range of particle size of 0.05-0.55 mcm, in an air portion selected for testing directly from a stream of air exhaled by the patient. In case of exceeding a threshold value in it, a decision is made on the presence of a viral disease in a phase of active virus isolation. The patient performs an exhale into a container equipped with a means for mixing of re-exhaled air. Calculation of the number of nanoparticles is carried out in an air portion selected from this container.
EFFECT: reliable express diagnostics of viral diseases transmitted by aerosol and increase in a testing speed.
