FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to methods for performing physical exercises using simulators, and can be used for the development of the user's ilio-lumbar muscle. The exercise on the ilio-lumbar muscle is made using a device containing a knee support made with the possibility of linear movement along the base of the frame, and a shin support made in the form of a set of rollers fixed to the stop using a bracket and handles located on the frame rack. During the exercise, the user places the knee of one leg on the knee support, places the lower leg of the other leg on the lower leg support so that it is located between the rollers of the lower leg support. The user fixes position by wrapping its arms around the handles located on the frame rack. The user performs exercises to train the ilio-lumbar muscle under the impact of external load by linear movement of the knee support using reverse bends of the user's leg from the reduced position to the divorced position. In this case, the force created by the external load is opposite to the force created by the user when the foot moves to the reduced position. In some cases, the lower leg, placed on the knee support, is positioned by the user on an auxiliary support for the lower leg at an angle of 20-70° to the base, the user can grasp additional handles located on the rack above the level of the main handles, and also when the user performs an exercise during converging the leg, the foot is flexed, and while spreading the leg the user performs extension of the foot.

EFFECT: present invention enables to increase the load on the ilio-lumbar muscle when the user performs an exercise by using a device for training the ilio-lumbar muscle.
