FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceutics; it can be used for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. A therapeutic agent for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease is a combination of (S)-7-(20methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine-4-yl)-1-(tetrahydrofuran-3-yl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinoline-4(5H)-one, which is represented by the formula (I)
,
or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and memantine, which is represented by the formula (II) ,
or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. A method for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and the use of the specified therapeutic agent for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides an enhancing effect of a compound (I) relatively to a cognitive function in case of being used in a combination with memantine with a reduced dose of compounds.
