FIELD: water treatment methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for water treatment and can be used for biological treatment of surface runoff and environmental rehabilitation of polluted water bodies. The method includes the colonization of the reservoir by organisms-biodestructors. As a mechanism for the biodegradation of contaminants that enter the water body along with wastewater, aquatic biota is used in the form of plants, algae and living organisms capable of filtering water from plant and living microorganisms. To maintain the stability of aquatic biota in a reservoir, forced circulation of water in the reservoir is used and hydrobotanical sites with higher aquatic plants and bioengineering structures, such as a floating island, a coastal protection structure, and an underwater reef, are equipped. The hydrobotanical site is performed on a low-flow section of the reservoir by layer-by-layer laying of bulk soil, geotextile, waterproofing layer, loam, sand and gravel mixture, followed by planting of higher aquatic vegetation. The floating island is made in the form of a basket of material with positive buoyancy and hygroscopicity, planted with higher aquatic vegetation, in the roots of which plankton organisms settle, and spawning and fattening of juveniles occur, which contribute to the biodegradation of pollutants in the upper layers of the reservoir. Underwater reefs are made in the form of stone ridges, by dumping large stones at the bottom of the reservoir, in which bottom filter-feeding organisms settle, helping to cleanse the bottom layers of the reservoir. Coastal protection structures stabilize the near-shore zone of the reservoir and provide anti-erosion protection of the coastal section of the reservoir to prevent siltation of the reservoir. For reservoirs with gentle coastal slopes up to 5 m in height and water level fluctuations up to 1 m, the bank protection structure is performed by installing a stone-brush fascine in a recess in the ground along the average water level of the reservoir, through which they are buried in the ground perpendicular to the coastal slope and at an angle to the coastal slope towards the reservoir, interconnected stakes. For reservoirs with coastal slopes more than 5 m high and water level fluctuations of more than 1 m, the bank protection structure is made in the form of gabion structures mounted in the lower part of the slope, along the slope above the bank protection structures, along the slope, in the flood zone, plants are planted that strengthen the coastal structures.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in efficiency and a reduction in the time of rehabilitation of reservoirs.
