SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic and accelerator technology, in particular to can-type waveguide microwave windows for microwave vacuum devices. A can-type waveguide window is a segment of a circular waveguide with conductive end surfaces provided with mounting flanges for connecting segments of rectangular waveguides. In the plane of the cross section of the circular section waveguide section, equidistant from its end surfaces, there is a dielectric disk, vacuum-tightly attached to the circular section waveguide segment, and the geometry of the circular section waveguide section and rectangular section waveguide segments is chosen in such a way that the transmission of microwave power on the wave is ensured. E11. A section of the circular waveguide is formed by two interconnected mounting rings, a chamfer is made on the side edge of the dielectric disk. The dielectric disk is inserted between the mounting rings by means of a prefabricated holder made of conductive material with a profile identical to the edge of the disk with a chamfer. The prefabricated holder with the dielectric disk is attached to the inner surface of the segment of the circular waveguide by soldering, while a compensation gap is made between the prefabricated holder and the circular waveguide.

EFFECT: increasing the level of microwave power passing through the can window without using a cooling system.
