SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum tube microwave technology, namely, to microwire input-output round-to-rectangular waveguide of electrovacuum devices and microwave energy input into acceleration structures of accelerators. In particular, it can be used in creation of powerful and super powerful klystrons and powerful modern linear microwave accelerators. Microwave power input / output round-to-rectangular waveguide for microwave power transmission on wave E11 comprises a section of a circular waveguide, in the transverse plane of which equidistant from its ends a dielectric disc is located, vacuum-tightly welded to the wall of the section of the circular waveguide, as well as connected to a section of a circular waveguide from opposite ends, coaxially to the first and second sections of rectangular waveguides, wherein the round-to-rectangular waveguide further comprises two inductive diaphragms, which are located respectively in the first and second sections of rectangular waveguides equidistant from the ends of the circular waveguide.

EFFECT: high level of transmitted pulsed microwave power due to increase in electric strength and expansion of matching band of the UHF power input / output round-to-rectangular waveguide.
