FIELD: non-destructive testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for non-destructive testing of products made using ferromagnetic materials (cast iron, steel). The thickness gauge contains a display unit, a probing pulse generator, a receiving amplifier connected to it, and an ultrasonic transducer connected to them, while the microcontroller is introduced into the thickness gauge, connected to its corresponding input switch, with the first terminal of which the output of the matching amplifier is connected, the input of which is connected to the output of the magnetic field sensor, the input of which is connected to the corresponding output of the microcontroller, as well as the electromagnet, the input of which is connected to the corresponding output of the microcontroller, while the corresponding outputs of the microcontroller are connected to the input of the probing pulse generator, the input of the receiving amplifier, the input of the display unit and the input of the wireless communication module, and the second terminal of the switch is connected to the output of the receiving amplifier.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of conclusions regarding the residual strength of the test sample.
