SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular to devices for measuring the radii of curvature, the size of the ovality and the shape of the profile of steel cylindrical parts of large diameters of objects made of magnetic materials or their components. The device for measuring the radii of curvature, the size of the ovality and the shape of the profile of steel cylindrical parts of large diameters contains a housing made with the possibility of changing the base distance and resting on the measured surface using one front and two rear support rollers, a measuring transducer located on the housing in the middle of the base distance. The front and rear support rollers are made of magnetic material, which ensures that there is no slippage on the measured surface, and are mounted rotatably on mobile racks fixed with locking screws on the housing. A non-contact distance sensor is used as a measuring transducer. The distance traveled over the measured surface is measured by an encoder connected by a common axis to the rear support rollers. The inductance sensor mounted on a mobile rack with a front roller interacts with the initiator, which is a metal plate on a magnetic support installed on the control object. All measured information is recorded in a recording unit mounted on the housing and containing a microcontroller and a permanent storage module, a control unit, an indicator unit, a screen for information output, a power supply associated with it.

EFFECT: as a result, the accuracy and speed of determining the radii of curvature in the cross-section of cylindrical surfaces of pipes and pipeline parts increases.
