FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to radio engineering and is used in radio communications. To achieve the effect, in the method for exchanging information using pseudo-random tuning of the operating frequency PPRF, the stations use the method for choosing the optimal operating frequency OTF. In this case, the method for choosing the OTF is used, in which, with an increase in the value of the signal-to-interference power ratio for any frequency, an increase in the value of the selection probability given frequency. In the case of ensuring the exchange of information about the selected OTF stations, they exchange on these frequencies. At the same time, the operation of random number generators, which are used when operating in mode PPRF, continues, and support for their synchronous operation in stations is provided. If the exchange of information on OTF is disrupted, the stations go to mode PPRF.

EFFECT: ensuring the exchange of information at optimal operating frequencies, providing an increase/decrease in the probability of choosing an operating frequency in the event of an increase/decrease in the value of the signal-to-interference power ratio measured at this frequency, thereby increasing communication efficiency through the use of an adaptive algorithm for choosing the optimal operating frequencies jointly with PPRF.
