FIELD: reagent water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for reagent water treatment and can be used as a flocculating mixer before coagulated flake precipitators. The coagulating column contains a vertically oriented mixing chamber with an activator placed inside it, above which the outlet of the purified water supply unit is located. The column contains a vertically oriented body, the inner cavity of which has a square cross-section and a width-to-height ratio of 1:3. The body cavity is divided into a mixing chamber of a larger volume and a drainage chamber by means of a false partition installed parallel to one of the body walls at a distance equal to 15% of the body cavity width. These chambers communicate with each other above and below the false partition, the side edges of which are rigidly attached to the housing walls. As an activator, a floating load is used in the form of expanded polystyrene cubes with a side size of 15 mm, the total volume of which is 1/3 of the body cavity volume. The floating loading is limited from above and below by transverse gratings with a mesh size of 7 mm, installed in the mixing chamber. Level sensors are placed in the drainage chamber and it is equipped with two coagulated water outlets connected to each other, the upper of which is located below the upper edge of the false partition, and the other is located in the lower part of the housing and is equipped with a shutter. The treated water supply unit is made in the form of a pipeline with a diameter of 6.5% of the width of the body cavity, oriented parallel to the body, the outlet of which is located in the body cavity above the upper transverse grate, while the said pipeline is provided in series and from bottom to top with nozzles for pressure supply of sea water, sulfate aluminum and alkaline reagent, respectively, the distance between which is 40% of the width of the housing cavity. In addition, the bottom of the housing is made with a slope towards the lower coagulated water outlet pipe.
EFFECT: improving the quality of purified water by increasing the efficiency of the flocculation process; intensive, controlled and staged preliminary mixing of treated water with separately introduced chemical reagents; reduced consumption of chemicals; reducing the complexity of manufacturing the device and its size.
